Assistant Market Manager

Love markets, community vibes, social media and being part of something exciting? We’re looking for a friendly, organised and energetic Assistant Market Manager to join the PUFT Events team.

This is a hands-on role where no two weeks are the same. You’ll work closely with the Market Manager to help bring the markets to life — supporting stallholders, helping coordinate operations, creating social media content and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Helping coordinate weekly market operations and vendor communication
  • Assisting with stallholder onboarding, allocations and admin
  • Supporting market setup, pack down and onsite logistics
  • Supervising and supporting staff during market operations
  • Capturing photo and video content for social media
  • Assisting with social media posts, promotions and vendor features
  • Delivering friendly customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Helping bring new ideas to marketing campaigns, events and community engagement

What we’re looking for:

  • Positive attitude and great communication skills
  • Organised, reliable and proactive
  • Creative and comfortable using social media platforms
  • Happy to get stuck in and work early mornings/weekends
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys community events and creating great experiences
