Founded in 2016, PUFT is the brainchild of three Townsville boys - Jono, Dan, and Ck. PUFT is about bringing food to the people that would usually miss out on having events of this magnitude literally on their doorstep.
In 2020 PUFT added markets to its roster taking over Townsville's iconic Cotters Market.
Nominated for a North Queensland Tourism and Events award in 2019, winning in 2021 (for their work alongside Townsville City Council for Eats Origin edition) and Townsville City Council Australia Day award in 2021 and 2022, PUFT Events is your one-stop-shop for event creation.
OUR TEAM
Co-Founder/ Event Manager & Logistics
Generally, you will see me on event days looking after the many aspects that go into events.
Everything from bump in of the event, food truck positioning, power, bins, lights, furniture, toilets etc. and then the fun of packing it all away at the end when everyone has gone.
Dan and his wife Amy also own Crave Mobile Frozen Yogurt, NQ Event Solutions who manage the Amusements and Fairy Floss at many events across North Qld. Creating Pop Up Food Trucks with Jono and Ck and now seeing it develop and grow to include Cotters Markets, Townsville Eats, Event Management for Councils and Private enterprises has been an exciting venture to be involved in.

Being creative is my passion. I love that I get to work with my close friends on making Townsville a city to be proud of.

The concept of this business began in 2016 with my good mate CK, with the vision to create events that I would love to attend with my family.
With the In addition to Dan, we have created something special throughout Townsville and NQ.
I am mainly the face of the emails through all things events, ensuring that the lead-up to the event runs as smoothly as possible.
New Business Development Manager
I am the new kid on the PUFT block but have been in hospitality for many years. Originally from Canada I began my love for food, travel and meeting new people.
After traveling the world, Australia became my favorite place which led me and my family to call home.
My previous experience in hospitality, corporate sales and motherhood has given me the skill set to take on any events PUFT throws my way. If you are interested in working with us at PUFT, call me!
Office and Finance Manager
Vanessa has always been affiliated with the PUFT team, since her husband Jono started the enterprise with mate Cliff in 2016.
Community engagement has always been a passion, and having a young family creates this awareness.
Taking on an administrative role in 2021, Vanessa holds accountabilities for all administrative and financial requirements. Her background is within healthcare management.
Vanessa prides herself on customer care and going the extra mile, especially towards our market vendors.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
